December 2015 Fitness Goals

Hi all – we incorporate fitness training into all of our classes as fitness and self defense go hand in hand.  here are the the out-of-class fitness goals for our students this month (if it’s too easy scale it up):

Alternate sets 1 & 2 every other day for the first 15 days

  • Set 1 – 3 sets of curls (use an odd shaped thing taht you can hold with two hands, and it needs to be heavy (for you))
  • Set 2 – 25 lunges

Alternate sets 3 & 4 every other day for the last 15 days of the month

  • Set 3 – 50 weighted squats (use a 20lb bulky object, hug it and do your squats)
  • Set 4 – 3 sets of 20 alternating arm planks
